We coloured our eggs Saturday evening when the girls and I returned from an Easter Egg hunt with Carmen's family. It was fun as always =) Bright colours and even brighter smiles. We coloured about two dozen eggs in all! Come Monday we ate a lot of egg salad sandwiches =D Saturday night after all our Saturday chores were done, I made a huge sign for everyone to see when they come up the stairs in the morning. It said "He is not here! He is Risen!" Mom and I laid out little Easter baskets with small gifts for each person and I put all our Easter things on the dining room table (Crown of thorns, nails, palm branches, purple robe etc) I replaced the black rope which had been wrapped around the cross with a white robe. The next morning (Easter morning). We listened to the story of Jesus' resurrection and played the Hallelujah Chorus! It was so wonderful to celebrate Christ's victory over death.

Wow! It looked like you had a fun time! I have never had an "egg decorating" party around Easter. You got great pictures, Beth. You are quite the photographer, and I'm glad you take so many pictures. Makes your blog posts so interesting, and fun. :-D
