The sad thing is I really do enjoy cooking. Perhaps others would wish me to give up but I can't. I keep trying. Surly one day I will be be able to bake without burning and cook without adding too much of this or too little of that. ;)
Tonight I stood in the kitchen and stared mournfully at the huge pan of undercooked rice that nobody will eat. It was then that I realized I had yet again forgot to turn off the oven and one of the burners. I reached to turn the knob and my winced, forgetting my fingers were slightly burned from moving a lid without a pot holder. Then I just started laughing, "I can't cook!" I said to the stove and the dirty dishes (nobody else could hear me). It was humerus to me because I had thought this a few times but never really let myself acknowledge that it was true. Now that I acknowledge it and I can begin to work around my disability ;)I know I will get better at cooking. Now that I see it as something to work on.
Oh and I have no idea why I am writing this for all of facebook to see! LOL--
