It is so easy to get focused on the millions of things you and I have to do everyday, the mundane task can so easily fill up our to do lists and leave us exhausted. Gracie my 4yr old cat is enjoying the tulips in our front yard and you know what so should we. We need to make time for things like flowers, ice tea and walks around the park. I'm not saying that the things on your list are unimportant but it's also important to make sure your not stressed, it doesn't help anyone to have a clean kitchen if you did it all the while yelling and complaining. The next time you feel overwhelmed take it to the Lord and pray that He give you a Mary's heart even though you may have a Martha's to do list. Here are five things to try the next time your' feeling the pressure of your list.
1. Pray that God gives you peace
2. If you have time go for a walk, bring the mp3 player along with your favorite worship music or even better jot down this months verse (Philippians 4:3-6) and memorize it.
3. Drink a refreshing drink ( I find ice tea to be the best)
4. Soak your feet in warm water with a little of your favorite body soap, then rub them with lotion and paint a fresh new spring color on your toes.
4. Soak your feet in warm water with a little of your favorite body soap, then rub them with lotion and paint a fresh new spring color on your toes.
4. Read a little child a story ( I suggest a Max Lucado picture book)
5. Write down the things that are stressing you out and see if they are really important, if they are then try to think of things you can do that you enjoy while your doing the stressful thing. For example, play your favorite music while you fold laundry, let yourself have one small things you enjoy eating after the Bathroom is finished etc.
God doesn't want you to get worried, He wants you to get peace, so the next time you feel like throwing your hands up in despair, fold them instead and say a prayer (hey it rhymed!)

I know that you probably will never see this but here I am writing it anyway. I love this. I need it so badly. I feel really stressed lately but not on tasks, more on things like hard relationships with siblings and tough school load. These things weigh me down.
plus trivial things like people not being really excited about my quilt. (no I am not trying to make you feel really badly but I am sad that neither you nor Rachelle showed a lot of interest (rachelle even telling me so) it is a bit disheartening and I am still sad about it. So I will try not to mention it again, ok?)Anyqay, it was just what I needed to read. Thanks!
I love you!
