Have an Elizabeth Bennet day, pick wild flowers, take a long walk, dance, drink a cup of tea, buy new ribbons for your hair, say something extremely witty, share a secret with your sister, ignore rude remarks, turn down the preposterous, visit new places, hope for the best, plan for the worst, defend your family, be honest and marry Mr. Darcy!
Elizabeth didn't always make good choices but she did try to do what's right and that's what most encouraged Mr. Darcy's affections. As a dear friend of mine says, "to get a treasure be a treasure." That doesn't mean that we are to go around hoping to attract, Elizabeth didn't purposely try to get Darcy's attention but she did be herself. Make sure who you are is pleasing to first the Lord and then others.
