Life is far from perfect and mine is not excluded. I mess up all the time, I step up when I should step aside, I've spoken when I should have been silent and just today I got upset at one of my brothers. My Christian life has been more like a game of hide and seek then follow the leader, I'm always getting lost, or purposefully hiding from the Lord, instead of following closely behind Him.
But when I fail, when I forget, when I run in the complete opposite direction of Jesus, He does not give up on me, He runs me down and takes me home. His mind completely made up, I belong to Him and I will stay with Him. Praise the Lord! Where are you? Are you lost? Are you a run away like me? Jesus can bring you back, up high on His shoulders and held close to His heart. Don't keep running, stop, turn around and what will you see? Your Father holding His arms wide open.
A quote I love so much ends with these words, " there where they thought to escape Him, they run straight into His arms." Run to Jesus, wont you?!
