I get up at 7:00am and take a walk with Sadie.
By at 8:00am everyone is up and eating breakfast, I get home from walk. Breakfast for me usually is granola, yogurt or chi latte.
At 8:30am we do morning chores. I vac. our living room and great room.
Around 9:15-9:30 we all sit down to our own devotions. I have the Violet sketch-book devotional and the girls and I have been doing that together as well as reading one chapter in the Bible, usually a chapter that the lesson that day is based on.
By 10:00am the boys go do math and us girls read one chapter in the Violet books. A little after ten the girls start Math. I help Abby with all her math, everyone else does two lessons of math but Abby and I do math for an hour.
It is now a little after 11:00am and Abby and I read for an hour, she reads on her own, then she reads aloud to me and then I read out loud to her. I will admit that some days we do not do all this :-(Lunch is at noon and we have an hour break. I usually check email and note I have not mentioned me getting ready for the day, like getting dressed, that is because I still haven't :-) I usually don't get dressed till lunch break, that way I can keep right on teaching and working ( at least that's what I tell myself).
By the afternoon I usually have somewhere to be. Sometimes I go to work at Used Kidz, other days I babysit for a family that lives near us but some days I don't go anywhere and I just have Carmen. If I leave the house I usually am gone from either 12:30-5:30 or 1:30-4:15 depending on where I'm working. If I don't have to go to work I help more with home-schooling. Mom teaches Abby in the afternoon but there are a few things I can do and sometimes we will repeat a few of the things we did in the morning. I try to be available for anyone who needs help. I'll practice the piano for a little bit or write to all of you if I have spare time.
By 3:30pm everyone is done with school. We start getting ready for dinner. Most little ones go play outside and I either check email or clean something.
Dinner usually is about 6:30pm and then some family members watch T.V ( if there's something good on), I usually write, read a book or blog.
Right before I go to bed ( which can be as late as mid-night, not saying I'm proud of this) I take a shower and that's my day.
Thanks for coming along with me :-)
Of course you know that each day can be different and really no day is alike. We have goals and plans which is good but it would be dishonest to tell you that this is how every day looks, the above ( to me) is a GOOD day and good days come every once in a while. Do you know what I mean?

Great Post!
I love reading things like this. Why? because it gives a little peek into someone elses life. I love knowing what happens wen I am ot there. Of course, I have never been to your house but I always get the feeling when I go to other people's houses that I do not get a very clear piicture of what happens. I often wish I oculd be a fly on the wall and see what life is like for other people. Oh, If I ever do become a fly, PLEASE, I beg you, do not kill me. That would be very sad.
Anyway, thanks for sharing!
ALL my love,
Carolyn
